Over 30
years of efficiency
The Creform
system has helped companies worldwide maximize space and
support lean manufacturing environments. Here's how it
started.
Over 30
years ago, Yazaki Industrial Chemical Co., Ltd., invented
the Creform system in Japan. The unique, adaptive material
handling system spread quickly among the manufacturing
operations of companies throughout the Pacific Rim.
In 1991,
Yazaki purchased Textube Corporation to support the Creform
system in North America and Europe. Textube was founded in
Stamford, Connecticut in 1955 and relocated to Upstate South
Carolina in 1968, where the company serviced the textile
industry with plastic cones, tubes and cores for spun staple
yarn.
In 1999, Textube built a
40,000-square-foot manufacturing and
support facility directly beside its North American
headquarters in Greer, South Carolina. This state-of-the-art
facility is the heart and soul of North American production
for the Creform system.
In
1999,
to support the Creform system in Europe, Textube and Yazaki
opened Creform Technik GmbH, located in central Germany.
In 2003,
Textube purchased Creform LogisTech of Wixom, MI. With this
addition, Creform is supported in North America by offices
in South Carolina and Michigan.
Textube
started 2004 by changing the name of the company to
Creform Corporation to better reflect our commitment to
the Creform system. |
